Psychological Capital, Work Engagement and Affective Organizational Commitment among Employees of the Handloom Industries in Sri Lanka

The study examined the effect of psychological capital on work engagement and employees’ affective organizational commitment employees in weaving canters Handloom sector Sri Lanka. Further, it attempts to find out industries expands literature relevance by contextualizing one Lanka's indigenous sectors industry based Conservation Resources (COR) Theory Job Demand-Resources (JD-R) Theory. Data was collected from 361 Lanka applying second thumb rule Ringle et al (2012). quantitative analytical technique employed this through Smart Partial Least Square - Structural Equation Modelling. revealed that has positively related engagement, association between mediated engagement. contributes body knowledge both JD-R theory COR expanding theoretical understanding mediation relationship commitment.
